The Perfect Time to Start is Different for Every Child.

Every child develops at their own pace. Some young students jump right into class, while others need a little more time to become comfortable listening, following directions, and participating with a group.

That's okay.

Our Tots program is designed to meet young students where they are and help them develop those skills over time. We don't expect children to walk through the door already knowing how to focus, stay still, or follow every direction—that's part of what they're here to learn.

A free introduction lesson gives your child a chance to experience class while giving our instructors an opportunity to see how they respond to the training environment. We are firm believers in merit and honest feedback. If we believe your child is ready to begin, we'll tell you. If we believe they would benefit from a little more time before starting, we'll tell you that too.

Our goal isn't simply to enroll another student. It's to make sure that when your child begins their martial arts journey, they're ready to have a positive and successful experience.

Building the Foundation

Preschool martial arts in Houston should be about much more than learning how to kick and punch. Our Tots program uses age-appropriate training to help students develop the mental and physical skills that create a strong foundation both on and off the mats.

Our Tots students learn the same foundational material taught in our Kids program, but we break it into smaller, age-appropriate pieces.

This gives our youngest martial artists the time and repetition they need to understand each skill, build confidence, and develop a strong foundation for the next stage of their training.

These skills help our youngest students learn how to focus, manage themselves, work with others, and retain what they're learning—building habits that carry far beyond the mats.

What Does a Tots Class Look Like

40 MINUTE CLASSES

Our Tots classes are 40 minutes long--enough time for meaningful training while keeping the pace appropriate for our youngest students.

STRUCTURED, BUT FLEXIBLE

Every class has a purpose and a plan, but teaching young children requires flexibility. Our instructors adjust the pace and activities to keep students engaged while still working toward the goals of each class.

ACTIVE LEARNING

Young children learn by doing. Classes combine martial arts instruction with movement, repetition, drills, and age-appropriate activites that keep students learning while having fun.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

Tots classes are offered five days each week, giving families the flexibility to train around busy schedules. Most students attend two to three classes per week, and there's no need to reserve a spot for each class, just show up ready to train.
