More Than a Place to Train

For more than 20 years, our Copperfield Academy has been a place where students and families come together to train, grow, and challenge themselves.

Built for Training.

Built for Families

Our Copperfield Academy features approximately 3,000 square feet of dedicated training space designed to give students room to learn, train, and challenge themselves.

A separate parent viewing area gives families a comfortable place to watch classes while keeping the training floor open and focused for our students.

Come As You Are. We'll Take It From There.

No Experience Needed

Everyone starts somewhere.

Wear Something Comfortable

Athletic clothing is perfect for your first visit. You'll be moving!

We'll Guide You Through It

Our Instructors will help every step of the way even before you step onto the mats.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions? We've Got Answers.

Do I need any martial arts experience?

Not at all. Most students begin with little or no martial arts experience. Our instructors will help you learn at your own pace.

Can parents watch class?

Absolutely. Our academy has a separate viewing area where parents and family members can watch classes.

Do you require a long-term contract?

No. Most of our memberships are billed on a monthly basis, so families aren't locked into a long-term contract. And if you ever need to step away, it's just a 31-day notice to cancel.

What is sparring?

Sparring is a controlled training exercise that helps students develop timing, distance, control, and confidence while working with a partner. Safety and control are always emphasized.

Do I have to spar?

No. Students train for many different reasons. While sparring is encouraged, it is not mandatory. Our goal is to challenge students appropriately—not force them into something they aren't ready for.

Am I to old-- or is my child to young-- to start?

There's no perfect age to begin martial arts—just the mindset to try. Our programs are divided by age and experience for this very reason.

We are firm believers in merit. If we believe you or your child is ready, we'll be the first to say, “LET'S DO IT!”
