Mr Kirkwood and
Master Kirkwood would like to commend all the
students from Lesmahagow, who recently competed in
the 1st A.I.M.A.A European Championships in Blantyre.
This event was truly amazing to watch and be part
of, and the high standard of competitors taking part
was exceptional! A.I.M.A.A Instructor Mr

Title" for patterns, before having to retire from
the event due to a foot injury!

proud to announce that his students obtained 3
European Titles and 5 Silver places. The
Ventura family who train in Lesmahagow (Caroline,
Jenna and Ryan) all became European Champions! Also
competing at the event was Scott Ritchie and Colin
Colley who won Silver in their divisions.
Mr Kirkwood would
like to commend his other students who took part,
but were piped to the post for a placing. All of you
did an exceptional job on the day and in my eyes all
of you are winners! A full report and listing
